a) The use of a common measuring system makes it easier for people from different countries to communicate with each other. b) The use of a common measuring system means a maesurement in that unit has the same value anywhere in the world.
Yes. Most of the rest of the world except for the United States and one other country uses the metric system, measuring with meters, kilometers, e.t.c. We use feet, inches, miles, e.t.c. this can cause various complications when measuring. Even though we have different system of measuring things, the metric system is commonly used in the USA regardless. In physics, most students are taught calculations with metric system measurements.
The USA does NOT use the metris system, but the rest of the world decided to use one system to make it easier on everyone, so that they didn't have to change units when they moved between countries. I have no idea why the USA didn't.
Germany, in line with the rest of the world except the U.S., uses the metric system.
That will depend on if you are measuring American letter size or Metric letter size (used in the rest of the world). American use inches, Metric use centimeters.
Different measuring systems use different units of measurement. The United States still uses feet and inches simply because it has not converted to the system used by the rest of the world.
America use the Imperial system.
It is a more precise way of measuring
The answer is to use the metric system like the rest of the world.
Here in the United States we use the Standard System not the Metric System like the rest of the world uses.
cgs (centimetre, gram, seconds) or SI system i.e mks (metre, kilogram, seconds)
Yes, it is called the metric system
well the USA is the only country in the world to use the customary system while the rest of the world uses the metric system

I don't know what measuring system you use, but I do know that: 1yard = 3 ft = 36in = 91.44cm = 0.9144m
