This is easy. So basically, there are plates of the Earth's crust moving around, and that is why continents are moving around. When two continental plates collide, then since the two plates are of the same density, they both lift Each other up. For Example, the Himalayas are made by the Indian Plate and the Eurasian Plate because they are convergent, or they are ramming into each other.
Hope this helps.:)
Marble is usually created by the regional metamorphism of limestone. Therefore, marble could be found in areas of uplift and folding at depth, or erosionally exposed areas of old mountains.
833 Earths fit inside Saturn
There could be, but we haven't discovered one yet.
Approximately 1,321 Earths could fit inside Jupiter, given its massive size and volume.
Approximately 1,321 Earths could fit inside Jupiter, and approximately 764 Earths could fit inside Saturn. Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system, while Saturn is the second largest.

If the uplift and gravity forces were the same on a hot air balloon, it would remain at a constant altitude. The balloon would neither ascend nor descend but would instead float in a stable position in the atmosphere.
Most common change to the Earths surface from internal forces would most likely be earthquakes and volcano eruptions. External forces could be considered meteor strikes, or possibly the effects of gravity on the oceans ( Tides ) Global warming is also melting glaciers and causing a growth in arid regions. kapm
An escarpment is a long, steep slope or cliff created by tectonic forces or erosion. Tectonic forces can uplift a block of land creating a steep slope, while erosion can wear away softer rock layers leaving behind a cliff-like feature.
if jupiter were hallow around 11 earths could fit in jupiter

you can fit over 1millon earths inside the suns
If you were careful not to burn your fingers, about a million Earths could be crammed into the Sun.
The Earths Equatorial diameter is 12756 km, and there are (on average) 149,597,890 km to the sun, so we are talking about 11728 Earths.
Alfred Wegener's idea that tidal forces could cause continental drift was refuted as impossible because tidal forces act on ocean water, not solid land masses. The forces required to move continents are much greater than those caused by tides. Additionally, there was no mechanism known at the time to explain how tides could cause such significant movement of continents.
