Chlorophyll is vital in photosynthesis. So, if a plant stops producing chlorophyll, which will stop the photosynthesis, they are not able to produce/manufacture their own food. Humans

benefit from it, so if it will stop, humans will not be able to eat specifically vegetables, which

is good for our body.

[Please take note that this is only my opinion,

I just wanted to give you idea about this.

You shouldn't research this by the way,

all you need to do is turn off your

computer & open your textbooks, &

read. Don't hope with technology.]

What do you think will happen to a plant if its stop producing chlorophyll?

If a plant stops producing chlorophyll, it will lose its ability to carry out photosynthesis effectively. Without photosynthesis, the plant will not be able to produce energy or nutrients, leading to its decline and eventual death.

Why does the green in leaves vanish?

In the fall when the plant stops making chlorophyll.

Plants stop producing chlorophyll in the fall and winter why?

High light, in most cases. Plants tend to produce new chlorophyll during darkness. The will produce some chlorophyll during the day, but if the light becomes to intense, then photosynthesis is shut down to protect the plant from light damage.

What happens to chlorophyll when temperatures drop?

Plants stop producing chlorophyll when the temperature drops, because there is less light in the winter it makes more sense to use food storage then continue using energy to produce chlorophyll and continue photosynthesis. The reason for color change in the leaves are the other pigments present in plant leaves, which only show once chlorophyll production stops. These include carotenoids (yellow orange brown) and Anthocyanins (reds).

What will happen if sun stops producing energy?

Eventually it will. Among many other things, life on earth will no longer be possible

Why do the leaves of a tree turn brown in the fall?

The green pigment in leaves, chlorophyll, breaks down in the fall, revealing other pigments like carotenoids (yellows and oranges) and anthocyanins (reds and purples). As the tree prepares for winter and stops producing chlorophyll, these other pigments become more visible, giving the leaves their brown color before eventually falling off.

Is the leaves changing color in the fall a chemical or physical?

Often , a color is evidence of a chemical change . Year round , leaves contain yellow , red , and orange pigments that are masked , or hidden , by large amounts of green chlorophyll . In autumn , changes in temperature and rainfall amounts cause trees to stop producing chlorophyll . When chlorophyll production stops , the masked pigments become visible

When it gets colder what does chlorophyll do?

Slows down and eventurally stops. That is why in the fall leaves turn yellow and other pretty shades and eventurally fall off the tree because they are not producing and sugar (glucose) for the tree so they are no longer needed

What is menapuse?

The time when the human female stops producing eggs. The menstrual cycle stops.

What mineral ion stops leaves turning yellow?

Nitrogen" " is taken in as nitrates and is needed to form proteins and chlorophyll. Without nitrogen the plant's leaves turn yellow and the plant shows poor growth.Andrew Campbellandrewcampbell@gmail.com

What is The reason that deciduous leaves turn colors of red and yellow in the fall is?

Deciduous leaves turn red and yellow in the fall due to the breakdown of chlorophyll, which reveals other pigments present in the leaves such as carotenoids (yellow) and anthocyanins (red). As the days get shorter and temperatures drop, the tree stops producing chlorophyll, allowing these other pigments to show through.
