All field crops need soil, water, air and light (sunshine) to grow. The soil gives stability to the plants; it also stores the water and nutrients which the plants can take up through their roots. The sunlight provides the energy which is necessary for plant growth

There would be no rain. Rivers would dry up. Crops would die if they couldn't be watered from a lake. People would die because there would be no food, except fish. hydrologic>Hydrology>Geohydrology>the study of Earth's Water cyclic movements, Atmospheric, Geologic, and in the Seas: cessation of this functioning would mean the Halt of this Flow of Water.
During a spring rainstorm in my area, the hydrosphere would be active with precipitation falling in the form of rain. The atmosphere would be responsible for driving the weather system that brings the rain. The biosphere would benefit from the rain providing moisture for plants and animals to thrive. The lithosphere may experience erosion and transport of sediment due to the rainstorm.
Some of the pesticides sprayed on farm crops wash off in the rain and get into the waterways. The water plants absorb the pesticides.
-Plants will die. -Plants will not grow -would be no good crops.
The crop will not grow then. It would dry up and leave the farmer with no crops at the harvest hurting the food supply and his source of income.
happen to the soil, crops, plants, animals and exposed water acid rain

Too much rain Not as much sun Different altitudes
Insects, lack of rain, late or early frost, hail storms, crops damaged by too much rain or wind.
summer can effect farming because in some areas of Australia, summer neans that there is not much rain at all/ it is hot and dry in the summers. this effects the crops because the crops do not get the rain that do need. they do not grow and they start to die. this effects the farmer because (depending on what he grows and sells) he will not get as much money as he would earn during the winter times, where there is more of the rain that is needed for the crops to keep on growing.
If not enough rain has fallen, the farmer may choose to irrigate the crops.
Rain is made when the cloud has too much moisture in it, and has to get rid of some.
