When did the milky way galaxy form?

well in my search i came up on these 2 explainations:

1) The Milky Way is a translation of the Latin Via Lactea, which in turn is derived from Greek (Galaxias) sometimes referred to simply as "the Galaxy".

2) "The Ganga of the sky", is the ancient Hindu name for the galaxy as viewed from the Earth. this was called "Akash Ganga ", it is the Hindi name for Milky way.

with our current astronomical knowledge, scientists predict it was approximately 1 billion years after the big bang (Big Bang Theory - Georges Lemaître)
As the Milky Way is an active galaxy, stars are being created and dying right now.

The oldest star within our Galaxy is HE 1523-0901 which is about 13.2 billion years old, almost as old as the Universe itself.

So it is safe to say, that the Milky Way galaxy was one of the first massive stellar objects to be created.

It is also probable, that the Milky Way Galaxy formed around the remnants of one of the first Population III stars, that exploded as a supernova leaving behind a massive black hole.
The milky way formed on the first day of creation which is approximately 6000-12000 years ago.
