The healing process typically begins as soon as the fracture occurs. The body responds by forming a blood clot or callus at the site of the fracture to stabilize the bone and initiate the repair process. Depending on the severity of the fracture, visible signs of healing, such as bone remodeling and callus formation, may start to occur within a few weeks.
Yes, a growth plate in the foot can be broken. Growth plates are the weaker areas in developing bones, and injury or trauma to the foot can cause a fracture through the growth plate. It is important to seek medical attention to ensure proper healing and prevent long-term complications.

possibly. Ask your phsycian. If you have been on it a lot and not icing, then the initial swelling may have settled in your ankle. Your shin is the hardest area to break in the body, so it may be longest healing wise.
5 weeks ago i broke my second, third, and fourth metatarsal bones in my foot. I was meant to have my cast off last week, and the doctor said the third and fourth metatarsal bones weren't healed yet, so she said i had to have it on another 3 weeks! , over all i will have had it on 7 and a half weeks. A splint for the foot is a device that helps support and protect the foot during the healing process of injuries or conditions. It is typically made of a rigid material and is used to immobilize the foot to prevent further damage. Splints can be used for various foot injuries such as fractures, sprains, or tendonitis to promote healing and reduce pain and swelling.
Smoking does hurt your immune system and can prolong healing.
Applying the brakes with your foot!
The crutches would definitely relieve the pressure on the foot, because you would not be putting your weight on it by walking. It would then give the foot ample chance to start healing.
by breaking you leg/ anklex
It could be infected, have a licensed vet check it out.
Yes of course they are. At one week it is still the beginning of the process of healing time but yes, at this point your body is at work and your foot bones should be ready to put pressure on them after about three weeks with probably fracture boot. Add pressure/weight to your fractured foot every day and build up that pressure/weight every day as i had said before. But always follow what your regular doctor or your orthopedic tells you to do.
no he lost it naturallly the foot breaking episode was fake, they spray painted his foot

Possibly get a brace to immobilize the foot for healing. Depending on the injury location, it could be 'taped up' in order to improve healing but would need a orthopedic dr. or sports medicine technician to correctly do it. There are orthopedic shoes designed to immobilize the foot for healing but you would need to consult with a health professional about using one for your injury;
break them and find out lol
