When is the next comet going to appear?

as seen from Earth:

-- 45P Honda-Mrkos-Pajdusakova

There are several comets visible from earth each year with the use of strong binoculars or a telescope, but there are currently no large "naked eye" comets in our immediate future. That can change rapidly, though, new comets are being discovered all the time.

It is difficult to predict when the next comet will appear as their orbits can be unpredictable. However, astronomers are continually monitoring the skies and discovering new comets, so there is always a chance of one appearing in the near future.

Its very difficult to predict, you sorta will be told maybe a few weeks ahead of time, because you cant make out the comet when it first reaches into what we could see, by the sun.

Halley's comet occurs ever 75->76 years. It last was seen from Earth in 1986 so astronomers predict that it will be seen again in the year of 2061.
