The image of a distant object is brought into focus in front of a person's retina, the defect is called nearsightedness. A virtual image produced by a lens is always located in front of the lens.
The defect is called myopia, also known as nearsightedness. In myopia, the image is focused in front of the retina instead of on it, causing distant objects to appear blurry. This can be corrected with glasses, contact lenses, or refractive surgery.
This is a birth defect. These babies are called hermaphrodites. They are born with genitals that are said to be ambiguous. The penis is very tiny. They have both testes and ovaries. This defect is very rare. The doctor and parents have to decide how to raise the child. Sometimes, later on, the child doesn't mature sexually as the assigned sex. In one case a child was assigned and raised as a girl, but never formed breasts and had a low masculine voice. He changed his assigned sex legally to male.
The defect of having a third chromosome 21 is known as Trisomy 21, which causes Down syndrome. This genetic condition leads to intellectual disabilities, characteristic facial features, and an increased risk of certain health issues.
1).schottky defect arises due to departue of ions (both cation and anion in equal ratio) from crystal lattice leaving holes that favour conductivity. The equal no of ions depart because to maintain the electrical neutrality of crystal. It was discovered by walter.H schottky in 1930. But in frenkel defect ions(cations) are missing from there normal lattice site and occupying an interstitial site between the lattice points. They dont depart from crystal lattice. Because no departure occure so crystal remain electrically neutral. It was discovered by Yakov frenkel in 1926. 2) schottky defect is only vacancy defect but frenkel defect is vacancy as well as interstitial defect. 3). Schottky defect decreases density and strength of the crystal. But frenkel defect doesnt affect density. 4).schottky defect is shown by the ionic solids having high coordination no and approx. same size of cation and anion(i.e r+ve/r-ve approaches to 1) While frenkel defect is shown by the compound having low coordination no and size of anion larger than cation(i.e r+ve/r-ve approches the minimum value). Defict is not a word. You could mean defect of deficit. Here are sentences for them: She brought the product back to the shop it was bought it as she had found a defect in it. The government deficit had dropped.
The term 'hole-in-the-heart' usually means that there is a defect in the wall between two of the heart's chambers. If the defect is between the atria the condition is called an atrial septal defect or ASD and if the hole between the ventricles is known as a ventricular septal defect or VSD.

Defect cascading explains how one defect leads to other defects. For Example, employee application salary calculations are not correct when totaling Basic, Tax and Gross, so for this issue defect raised. In this case other modules will block and also same defect will exists in all those modules due to this defect. This is called Defect Cascading.
The upper chambers of the heart are called atria, and the wall that separates them is called the atrial septum. Thus a defect in that wall is called an atrial septal defect. They are not uncommon, and can run in families and be associated with genetic abnormalities such as Down syndrome.
Thalassemia: An inherited defect in the ability to produce hemoglobin, usually seen in persons of Mediterranean background.
the congenital defect is swollen feet. Ur toes look like sausages!
It is called a birth defect.
