It was seen in 2004 in many parts of Europe, Africa, Asia and North and South America. The Venus transit was visible over about 75 percent of the Earth, and ended at sunrise over central and eastern North America. The event was over by the time the Sun rose over the West Coast of North America (but viewers in Alaska could see the beginning of the transit and, for Northern Alaskans, the entire transit, because the Sun does not go below the horizon).
Venus is visible most of the time if you know where to look. The only times it cannot be seen are when it's too close to the Sun, which happens for a short period (maybe a month) about every 9 months or so.

Yes, it was last seen in 1986. The next time it will be visible from planet Earth is the 28th July in the year 2061.
Objects that cannot transit the Sun as seen from Jupiter are those that are orbiting closer to the Sun than Jupiter itself. This includes objects in orbits closer to the Sun than Jupiter's orbit, such as Mercury, Venus, and Earth. The relative alignment of these planets with Jupiter and the Sun makes it impossible for them to be seen transiting the Sun from Jupiter's perspective.
You probably mean the " transit of Venus", when Venus crosses the Sun as seen from Earth.

Yes it can. But the planets between the Earth and the Sun (Mercury and Venus) are so far away that they cast only tiny shadows as seen from Earth, unlike the comparatively nearby Moon. When Mercury is seen crossing the Sun (next transit 2016), it is too small to be seen with the naked eye. When Venus crosses (next transits are in June 2012 and in 2117), it appears as a tiny dot about 1/100th the diameter of the Sun. Again, you would need special filters and a telescope to observe it crossing. (see related image link)
Planets' sizes are measured from their angular width as seen from the Earth. The basic scale of distances is calibrated by measurements of Venus from different points on Earth at the time of a transit of Venus.
transit tourists are those who visit another country on another destination
Yes, this is when the comet will next be visible from Earth according to predictions, on the 28th July. It was last seen in 1986.
The current prediction places it some time in 2061.
The current prediction is for some time in 2061.
