High air pressure means the weather is fair. Low pressure means the weather bring a storm or snow or rain.

The atmosphere has many different properties. Temperature and humidity play a big role in density. Air is always moving and is constantly heating and cooling. This changes air density. We live in the troposphere where almost all of our weather is confined to. Since the atmosphere is constantly seeking equilibrium air masses will push and "squeeze" against one another. This basically is the cause of pressure differences. It's a dynamic feature of our world and thankfully so.

Meterology: Study of weather and climateMeteorology (from Greek: μετέωρον, meteoron, "high in the sky"; and λόγος, logos, "knowledge") is the interdisciplinary scientific study of the atmosphere that focuses on weather processes and forecasting. Meteorological phenomena are observable weather events which illuminate and are explained by the science of meteorology. Those events are bound by the variables that exist in Earth's atmosphere. They are temperature, pressure, water vapor, and the gradients and interactions of each variable, and how they change in time. The majority of Earth's observed weather is located in the troposphere.

Meteorology, climatology, atmospheric physics, and atmospheric chemistry are sub-disciplines of the atmospheric sciences. Meteorology and hydrology compose the interdisciplinary field of hydrometeorology.

Interactions between Earth's atmosphere and the oceans are part of coupled ocean-atmosphere studies. Meteorology has application in many diverse fields such as the military, energy production, farming, shipping and construction.

The air pressure is greater closer to the ground. The higher you go above sea level, the lower the air pressure. The lower you go below sea level, the greater the air pressure. Hope i helped =)

What is a pressure belt?

The uneven heating of the earth produces pressure belts. these belts occur at about every 30 degrees latitude. The rotation of the Earth flings the bulk of the air creating an area of low pressure belt in this region.

How Are Low And High Pressure Different?

It is different because low pressure is on top of high pressure because since on top of low pressure nothing is on top.
