Every contanent has a Glacier. Many people refer to Australa being a contanent when really Australasia is the contanent. If you dont consider Australia to be the main Contanent of Australiasia then there are most defanetly glaciers, inNew Zeland there are several glaciers. If you consider Australia to be the main contanent of Australasia it doesent matter because there is acctually a glacier in Australia. The glacier is in the Kosciusko National Park and sits near a lake called the blue lake. The lake is formed from the melting water from the glacier.
Australia is the continent without glaciers.
Glaciers first appeared on the continent of Antarctica. The oldest known glaciers on Antarctica have been dated to around 30 to 35 million years ago.
They form a huge mass that covers the entire continent?
Yes, every continent in the world has glaciers, although their size and prevalence vary significantly. Antarctica and Greenland have the largest glaciers, while smaller glaciers can be found in places like the Andes in South America, the Himalayas in Asia, and the Alps in Europe. Even Africa has glaciers, such as those on Mount Kilimanjaro. In North America, glaciers are primarily located in Alaska and the Rocky Mountains.
Glaciers are generally not found in regions close to the equator where temperatures are consistently high. Additionally, glaciers are limited in desert areas with very low levels of precipitation. Areas with very low temperatures and limited snowfall may also not have glaciers.
Well i live in North America and i have never seen a glacier. I guess North America doesnt have any.

No, glaciers are found on mountains on every continent on earth, including Antarctica.
Australia is the only continent that does not have any glaciers.
Not every continent has glaciers. Glaciers are found predominantly in Antarctica, the Arctic, North America, and Europe. Other continents like Africa, Australia, and South America have limited or no glaciers due to their warmer climates.
africa Actually, all of them.

Australia has no continental glaciers, because the mountains do not receive sufficient snowfall to form them (at least not in the present era).
