Archealogist and scientist who study tin dont know who discovered it so no one knows
unknown
Tin has been known since ancient times, with evidence of its use dating back to around 3000 BCE in the Middle East. The exact individual who discovered tin is not known, as it was likely identified by early civilizations through trial and error. Tin is primarily used in alloys, most notably bronze (an alloy of copper and tin), and in coatings for other metals to prevent corrosion, such as in tin cans for food preservation.
people don't invent atoms or elements, but they do get discovered. check answers.com for this.
Copper, when combined with some tin, will create an alloywe know as bronze. Bronze was an important alloy (the first one discovered), and a whole age of civilization was named after it!
Bronze was probably alloyed before brass, yes. Bronze is copper and tin. Brass is copper and zinc. Bronze is the alloy most commonly found in ancient tools. But native copper itself was discovered before the alloys were.

Nicholas Appert discovered canning. Peter Duran was the one who invented the "tin can."
I do not know who discovered tin but all I know is what happened. What happened was that long ago when someone had built a fire or fireplace they discovered that the fire had changed the rocks and some metal had formed. It was an accidental discovery. And it happened at different times at different places. We know that tin and metals like bronze which are a mixture of tin and copper have been know for over 3500 years.
