Not all planets are. Warmth depends entirely on the atmosphere and how close it is to the star. for example, Mercury's daytime and nighttime are about 600 degrees Celsius apart, being about 300 C and -300 C respectively, and Venus has so much carbon dioxide, that the surface is three times as hot as on mercury, which means venus's surface would feel like a mushy candy bar left in the sun. however, Earth, whithout an atmosphere, would have an average temp of -18 degrees AT THE EQUATOR. this is why greenhouse gasses are important, because that is why we have nice temperatures like an average of 54 degrees Fahrenheit planetwide. Past us, most of the rocky planets ( and dwarf planets) have little to no atmospheres, so they have temperatures very close to absoulte zero. outside our solar system, a very common sight is a 'hot Jupiter' meaning a Jovian planet of around Jupiter's mass that orbits it's sun in less than an Earth Day. being this close has many consequences, one of which being if they are low-density they have a very good chance of being blown apart by solar winds. one such planet has an average daytime temperature of about 2400 degrees C, about 1000 degrees less than it's own parent star.
cold due to their distance from the sun. The outer planets are primarily composed of gas and ice, giving them their dark appearance. The lack of sunlight reaching these planets also contributes to their cold temperatures.
These planets are very cold gas giant planets.
Mercury - Neptune (EX. Uranus) Are Hot. Pluto and Eris are -147 - -312
Mercury and Venus: hot Earth: you know that! The rest of them: cold 2nd Answer: I don't understand that answer . . . In any event, Venus is extremely hot due to the thick cloud cover. Venus's surface temperature is close to 860 degrees, F. Earth's temperature runs from about -75 degrees to + 140 degrees, F. Mar's temperature runs between -200 degrees, F and 80 degrees, F., and Mercury's surface temperature runs from 840 degrees, F and -290 degrees, F. The rest of the planets, all gas giants, are very cold on their surface, but may be quite warm nearer their centers due to the immense pressure there.
Mars is very cold because it is farther from the sun than other planets.
Without the planets orbiting the sun all the planets would be cold and dark
All except earth and venus.
because its cold

Because all planets behind the earth are cold and all in front are hot this is because we are at peak temperature
All the planets farther away from the Sun is colder than Earth.
hot planets i think are mercury and venus... cold planets i think starts from mars outward..
Cold and it's not a planet it's a satellite
Some planets are hoot, some are cold, and some have moderate temperatures.
inner planets are small and outer planets are big and cold and gas giants.
Jovian planets are cold because they are located much farther from the sun than terrestrial planets like Earth. Since they receive less sunlight and heat, they have lower average temperatures. Additionally, the atmospheres of Jovian planets are primarily composed of cold gases like hydrogen and helium, which contribute to their overall cold temperatures.
neptune! bobo lang! :p
