For one, oxygen and hydrogen mostly make up organic compounds (the one element you need for an organic compound NO MATTER WHAT, would be carbon). Organic compounds make up every living thing on earth, from tigers to cyanobacteria to mushrooms. That's why H and O are so common in animals. Now for the earth. Hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe, for one. We also need oxygen to breathe and live. Cyanobacteria were the first organisms to produce oxygen, little interesting fact there.
Hope this helps!
Hydrogen, Carbon, Oxygen, and Silica are the most common elements found in the Earth.
hydrogen, carbon, oxygen. But don't forget silicon.
The two most common elements in the Earth's crust are oxygen and silicon. Oxygen makes up about 46.6% of the Earth's crust by weight, while silicon makes up about 27.7%.
In the Earth's crust, the most common elements are: Oxygen 46.1% Silicon 28.2% Aluminum 8.23% Iron 5.63% Calcium 4.15% Sodium 2.36% Magnesium 2.33% Potassium 2.09% Titanium 0.565% Hydrogen 0.14% In the atmosphere, the most common elements are Nitrogen and Oxygen. Since the core of the Earth is believed to be mostly iron, that would be the most common element in the entire planet.
Hydrogen The universe is mostly made of it (and helium), and hydrogen is basically 3/4 of all matter. On earth, the most common element is oxygen, if you include all the oxygen compounds, followed by silicon, aluminium, and iron
Hydrogen, Carbon, Oxygen, and Silica are the most common elements found in the Earth.
Water vapor is a common greenhouse gas found in hydrogen and oxygen. It is a naturally occurring component of the Earth's atmosphere and plays a significant role in the Earth's climate system.
hydrogen, carbon, oxygen. But don't forget silicon.
Hydrogen is the most common element in the universe, not oxygen.Oxygen is the most common element on Earth, followed by silicone.
Carbon bonds with chlorine potassium and other solids and liquids to make salts.
The most common compound found on Earth is water, which is made up of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom.
Oxygen is more abundant than hydrogen. In fact it is the most abundant element on Earth.
The two most common elements in the Earth's crust are oxygen and silicon. Oxygen makes up about 46.6% of the Earth's crust by weight, while silicon makes up about 27.7%.
The five common elements are oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, and calcium.
Most typically, water and hydrogen peroxide. They are two of the most common compounds of oxygen and hydrogen.
It is not. CO2 is more common on earth than O2 aswell as Hydrogen. In space its even less common.
