because they can afford to prepare for something that may never happen.
Poor countries, they have trouble enough getting through the day. They can't be spending precious money on rare, future events.
only countries lining the borders of the crust's plates will experience earthquakes. And since these plates are so big, they cover many countries and the ones in the middle experience earthquakes the least.
Yes, there can be differences in responses to avalanches between poor and rich countries. Rich countries may have better infrastructure, resources, and emergency response systems in place to deal with avalanches, whereas poor countries may struggle due to a lack of funding, equipment, and expertise. This can result in poorer countries being less prepared and having more limited capacity to respond effectively to avalanches.
Japan is frequently affected by earthquakes. Additionally, the United States has area affected by earthquakes.
This is a tough question to answer because earthquakes occur in so many places all over the world. They are generally recorded by magnitute, death tolls, and frequency for each country, but I was unable to find a list that compiled all of the data together. Richer countries generally cope better with earthquakes due to having stronger infrastructure, better construction standards, and more resources for preparedness and response activities. They can invest in earthquake-resistant buildings, early warning systems, and emergency response teams, which help minimize the impact of earthquakes on people and property. Additionally, wealthier countries often have greater access to technology and information that can help them predict and prepare for earthquakes more effectively.
look up the Japan earthquake that struck this year 2011, or american ones, try googling names of rich countries for there earthquake history and you should find something there to help you!!:DD
Because earthquakes happen very often there.
Poor building structures as well as medical assistance afterwards.
No, it depends on where the country is around the world and how close it is to tectonic plates. Richer countries may suffer though because of all the buildings and the economy.
Perhaps its the fact that poor countries lack the infrastructure to appropriately respond. Yea, idk but i think its stupid .... jus sayin It's because poor countries don't have enough money to thoroughly recover from it. Rich countries can recover much easier

In poorer countries they have a small budget so how much they spend is very important. Since they have a small budget and need to make it last the quality of the material used is low. This makes the buildings poorly built and not well supported. Buildings are not made to withstanding side to side movements and so topple over. This causes building to fall over by either the earthquake itself or the aftershocks. When buildings fall people die

Because they're rich. They can afford the materials and engineers to design them and build them. The rich countries share designs with poorer countries, but the poor countries simply don't have the wealth to build the structures.
