Most solids are composed of closely packed atoms or molecules that have strong bonds holding them in place, limiting their ability to bend. The rigid structure of solids allows them to maintain their shape and resist deformation under applied forces.
Most foods can't evaporate in water because most foods are solids. Foods like nuts and pumpkins seeds contain cellulose that does not dissolve easily in water.
Solids are made of atoms. In fact, so are most things.
They are lighter in density as compared to solids. Gas are compressible, whereas not all solids. Gases exhibit better flow characteristics than solids. Gases readily react with other substances. All solids are seen by the naked eye whereas some gases are not.
Do they hold their shape? Not exactly. Most if not all are free to flex, bend, vibrate as much as they please and yet would be undeniably solid. For some (metals), deformation is also possible under large stresses without fluid or gaseous properties being exhibited. Solids DO, however, resist change to their shape, and some will return elastically to their previous shape.
Solids can be categorized as crystalline or amorphous. Crystalline solids have a well-ordered internal structure, with atoms or molecules arranged in a repeating pattern. Amorphous solids lack this long-range order and have a disordered atomic arrangement.
some can some can,t
They do lots of things, they hold a shape, they have packed atoms, and you cant bend them
they cant
See a doctor
because we cant :) :) :)
Simple, you cant.
Only if there are holes in the solid if not, it cant.
solids cannot be poured , they cannot also change shape unless you bend it , break a bit of it or melt it. liquids can be poured. gases can not be condensed down
no they cant bend they legs far enough down
Most people can't do that. The joints weren't made to bend like that. However, some people like me can. Their joints can move in ways many people cannot.
This depends on the solids, but filtering usually takes most solids out of most liquids.
