asteroids are NOT round they are bumpy and do not form a perfect sphere. One of the criterias of a planet is it has to be perfectly round
One hypothesis is that asteroids are remnants from the early solar system's formation, made up of rock, metal, and other minerals. These objects may have never fully developed into planets due to gravitational interactions with larger bodies. Another hypothesis is that asteroids could be fragments from larger celestial bodies that broke apart due to collisions or other disturbances in space.
Scientists may not have named all of the asteroids in the asteroid belt because there are so many that they are hard to keep track of.
Minor planets, also known as asteroids, are rocky objects that orbit the Sun in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. Some other minor planets include the Trojan asteroids, which share an orbit with larger planets, and the Centaurs, which have unstable orbits that cross those of the giant planets.
Comets, asteroids, and dwarf planets are all celestial bodies that orbit the Sun. They are remnants from the early stages of the solar system's formation and are composed of rock, dust, and ice. Additionally, they are all classified as minor planets within our solar system.
That applies to just about any other object in our Solar System - and equivalent objects in other solar systems: planets, moons, dwarf planets, asteroids, meteorites, pieces of dust, comets. I don't think there is a generic name for all of them.

Scientists believe that asteroids originated around 4.6 billion years ago during the early stages of the solar system's formation. These rocky bodies are remnants from the solar nebula, the cloud of gas and dust from which the sun and planets formed.
At the same time that the Earth (and the other planets) formed : 4.5 billion years ago.
I think it was gallilao or Issac newton

solar systems, moons, asteroids, galaxies, stars, quasars, black holes, dust clouds, just about everything come to think of it!
yes scientist think Amelia Earhart is dead because she was never found after her plane crashed over the Pacific Ocean
Astronomers believe craters on the moon and other planets were created by impacts from asteroids, comets, and meteoroids. When these objects collide with the surface, they excavate debris and create large indentations in the crust. The size and shape of the craters can provide valuable insights into the history of impacts in the solar system.
our solar system contains planets, asteroids, stars, the SUN, satellites, meteors, asteriods, moons and other FLOATING stuff.................................................................. ^^ sryy if this doesn't help. heheheheheheheheheheh ... i cant think of anymore
I think that if we didn't know that meteoroids existed we wouldn't be aware of a meteoroid hitting the earth, but some scientist believe that somehow a big cloud clashed and made the solar system.Ofcourse god made it,but we wouldn't know how there was craters in the moon if we didnt know about meteroids. There just as important as planets
