You feel thirsty because you`ve lost more water than you`ve taken in. How? You lose water by sweating and by elimination. Your body needs lots of water and will let you know if you should drink up. Thirst receptors in the back of the throat dry up, make you feel thirsty, and then your brain sends out the message, `Drink up!`
