It doesn't really "destroy the atmosphere", Carbon Dioxide traps solar radiation, if there is too much solar radiation being trapped, then the earth becomes much hotter, hence global warming.

Does CO2 sink or rise in the atmosphere?

Carbon dioxide (CO2) rises in the atmosphere.

What is the main regulator of CO2 in the atmosphere because CO2 desolves easily in it?

The main regulator of CO2 in the atmosphere is the world's oceans. As CO2 dissolves in water, it forms carbonic acid, which can then be stored in the ocean or released back into the atmosphere. This process plays a crucial role in regulating the levels of CO2 in the atmosphere.

CO2 makes up what percentage of atmosphere?

CO2 makes up approximately 0.03% of Earth's atmosphere

Does CO2 gas rise or fall in the atmosphere?

Carbon dioxide (CO2) gas rises in the atmosphere.

Can humans destroy carbon dioxide?

No. It's possible to remove it from the atmosphere chemically, we can add more plants and plants convert co2 and release oxygen this is the only way we can convert co2 there is no way we can destroy it . also ocean absorb co2 to large extent but we are producing too much of it . plants are safest way and most easily can be bring to practice.

Which plant absorbs the most CO2 from the atmosphere?

The plant that absorbs the most CO2 from the atmosphere is the tropical rainforest.

Does carbon destroy the ozone layer?

No. There is negligible elemental carbon in our atmosphere. On Mars, CO2 is converted to CO, and ozone is formed. This mechanism is expected to be much weaker at Earth's higher air pressures. But CO2 presents no *chemical* challenge to ozone.

Which plants absorb the most CO2 from the atmosphere?

Tropical rainforests and mangroves are the plants that absorb the most CO2 from the atmosphere.

How does CO2 get into the upper atmosphere?

CO2 in the atmosphere exists throughout different layers, but it is mainly transported to the upper atmosphere through atmospheric circulation and mixing processes. Some CO2 molecules can also be carried to the upper atmosphere by volcanic eruptions or in the form of methane, which can be oxidized into CO2 at higher altitudes.
