Daylight time is shorter in the winter than the summer due to the Earth's tilt on its axis. In the winter, the Northern Hemisphere is tilted away from the sun, leading to shorter days and longer nights. Conversely, in the summer, the Northern Hemisphere is tilted towards the sun, resulting in longer days and shorter nights.
The day gets longer in the evening, as the amount of daylight increases leading up to the summer solstice. Morning will begin to get longer after the summer solstice as daylight decreases.
It is far away from the sun and it has more space to revolve,so the length of the summer is big.
In the summer, days are longer with more daylight hours due to the Earth's tilt towards the sun. This results in shorter nights. In the winter, days are shorter with fewer daylight hours because of the Earth's tilt away from the sun, leading to longer nights.
Lighter elements take more time in XRF analysis because they emit lower energy X-rays that are easier to be absorbed by the sample matrix. This requires longer measurement times to accurately detect and quantify the X-ray signals from lighter elements. Additionally, the lower X-ray intensity from lighter elements may necessitate higher sensitivity and longer counting times for accurate analysis.
Dark blonde hair gets lighter in the summer due to the intensity of the ultra violet rays of the sun. During the summer months you are spending more time outdoors and your hair is exposed to the sun for longer periods of time.
It is lighter in the summer because the Earth's axis is tilted towards the Sun, resulting in longer daylight hours. This tilt allows the Sun's rays to hit a larger portion of the Earth's surface, leading to longer days and shorter nights during the summer months.
Summer days are longer due to the tilt of the Earth's axis, which causes the Sun to take a higher path across the sky. This increased angle results in more direct sunlight reaching the Earth's surface, creating longer daylight hours. Additionally, the longer duration of sunlight contributes to warmer temperatures and the overall brightness of the season.
The summer nights are shorter while the winter nights are longer.
The longer, narrower or lighter they were the faster they went!
i think the whole killeen isd should get a longer summer even for elementary school kids because what if their birthday are in the summer.........we all deserve a longer summer ....y because we're kids

That depends when you think the day begins and ends. IF you think of the day as including the night (24 hours) then they don't get longer or shorter at all. The only appear to because it gets darker sooner in the winter and lighter sooner in the summer.
i think it means that it is lighter outside for longer than it normally is. ... i think
Most of the time this is a corroded or bad lighter. Disconnect the lighter and if it no longer blows the fuse, replace the lighter and lighter receptacle.
because its lighter
When metals (like the copper in the telephone wires) gets exposed to heat, they expand (thermal expansion) and when the get cooled they shrink. This directly implies that cables are longer in summer when it is hot. So telephone wires are longer in the summer.
