The increase in global temperatures is of concern to humans because thanks to the carbon cycle the earth's climate has been safely balanced for millions of years as suitable for life. Now there is imbalance because we have cut down forests and we burn fossil fuels. This means the amounts of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is rapidly increasing. If we canot slow and stop this warming then human existence on the planet may be threatened.

What percent effect do humans have on the climate?

Humans have a significant impact on the climate, with scientific consensus concluding that human activities, such as burning fossil fuels and deforestation, are the primary driver of global warming. It is estimated that human activities are responsible for approximately 100% of the observed increase in global temperatures over the past century.

How does global warming cause the hantavirus?

the rise in temperature can cause the increase in the number of rodents, rodents are the main carriers of this airborne disease, it can be caught by breathing in the air around the area of the nesting rodents. Just double check this answer

Does temperature increase the breathing rate of humans?

Yes, when exposed to higher temperatures, the body may increase its breathing rate to help regulate its internal temperature. This is known as thermoregulation and is a natural response to maintain homeostasis in the body.

What happened to the ozone layer in global warming?

The depletion of the ozone layer is not directly related to global warming. The ozone layer is being depleted by human-produced chemicals like chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), which break down ozone molecules. Global warming, on the other hand, is primarily caused by the increase in greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, leading to the trapping of heat and resulting in rising temperatures on Earth.

Did global warming bother humans just after the ice age?

After the ice age, humans likely did not directly recognize or attribute global warming as a concern. Instead, they would have been more focused on adapting to the changing environment and finding ways to survive in the new climatic conditions. The concept of global warming as a result of human activities is a more recent understanding.

Why is it gods concern to populate earth with humans even knowing they will destroy it?

Humans will not and cannot destroy the earth..............God will do that when he is ready..........so no global warming, or anything we do can destroy this earth.God made it, He will destroy it in his time..........

How much of global warming can be blamed on humans?

Here we are speaking of the increase in average global temperatures since the beginning of the Industrial Age. The rise in temperatures is consistent with the rise in greenhouse gas levels, which in turn is consistent with carbon dioxide emissions from human activities. However climate scientists cautiously say that human activities are "substantially" the cause of this global warming, leaving open the possibility that a much less substantial contribution could be found from natural causes. Thus the cautious answer could be that most, if not all, the recent global warming effect is due to human activities.

Does a hurricane cause global warming?

No, Hurricane Katrina caused flooding and terrible damage to humans and property, but it did not cause global warming. Global warming is caused among other things by man burning fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas) and putting greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.

Can humans survive in temperatures of 200 degrees?

No, humans cannot survive in temperatures of 200 degrees Fahrenheit.

Is global warming deadly?

No doubt humans will survive, no matter what we do to the world, but scientists do predict widespread species extinctions, so from that point of view, global warming is indeed deadly. Heatstroke does kill people occasionally, generally the very young or elderly. This can occur because a small average increase in temperatures can really mean a major, short-term temperature increase such as we saw in Moscow, when temperatures soared above 100 degrees Fahrenheit for the first time on record and remained above 100 degrees for several days. Major floods also contribute to human casualties. Droughts can cause starvation and consequent deaths. To the extent that these causes result from global warming, it can be deadly.

How can the study of earth science solve global warming?

As we study the earth and earth science we can find out what we can do as humans to help reduce the rapid increase in earth's warming.
