I just changed my clutch in my 95 VR-4. I Hope this is helpful, I had to pull the starter to pull the tranny so here ya go. first disconnect your power from your battery. Your starter is in the front bottom center of the motor. Mine had a heat shield protecting it from the exsaust. What you can do is pull the two screws out of the heat shield that should give you access to the starter. I don't know for sure buy you may have to pull the exsaust, I had to pull mine to remove my left driveshat. After that take off the power cable and the ground cable should just pull off. there are Two bolts that hold your starter on and they go through the bellhouse of your tranny. Your starter is very easy to change compared to a cluth.
