Either the ign. switch is faulty, or the starter is faulty
Or the starter solenoid is stuck closed, so the starter is constantly engaged and getting voltage from starter relay. If so you would need to replace the solenoid.

The starter motor is located under the car. There is three bolts holding it to the side of the transmission. There is also a bracet being held on by the bolt which is connected to the E.G.R. tubes. Just undo the the three nuts and pull the E.G.R. bracet off then undo the power line to the starter and you should have the starter in your hands. Before you do anything though disconnect the + batterie terrminal.

You need a new bendix on the starter. I've put 2 different brand new starters on cause the first new one was doing it. Now the second new starter is doing the same thing, staying engaged.I don't believe that's the answer but thanks. I'm trying a new solenoid on the fender.
