Semmelweis's ideas weren't accepted right away because they challenged the prevailing scientific beliefs of the time that miasma, or "bad air," caused disease. His theory, that handwashing could prevent the spread of disease, was also seen as radical and faced resistance from the medical community. Additionally, Semmelweis struggled to provide a scientific explanation for his findings, which made them harder to accept.
Yes. The geocentric system was long accepted. Briefly the geocentric system used the earth as the center of the universe, thus the sun and planets revolved around the earth as center of the universe. The geocentric system had religious implications of the earth as the seat of "God". The heliocentric system replaced the geocentric system in Copernicus' time, with the sun as the center. This challenged the religious concepts. The "geocentric" system is still accepted. Locating heavenly bodies still use the RA (Right Ascension) system which is geocentric. Leaving out the question of where "God" lives, the astronomical question is simplicity of astronomy calculations..
The five features are location, regions, movement, place, and interation.that is great and it is right
i dont no, maybe you should put them on the left side and you might be happy
He could not verify his ideas experimentally because, due to the incredibly tiny size of atoms, matter behaves as if it is continuous unless you expend enough energy in the right way to probe the microscopic structure. Science in those days was limited to what you could see with the naked eye, hear with the unaided ear, smell, taste, and touch... and you certainly cannot sense atoms in that way.
If you develop an experiment that truly demonstrates that the hypothesis is wrong*, then the hypothesis will lose its acceptance in the scientific community. * Such an experiment would have to be repeatable by other scientists AND accepted by interested scientists as a proof that the hypothesis is wrong.
no because they werent right for each other
It means you told someone something you werent supposed to like you accidentally told someone a secret that you werent supposed to tell them it sorta just came right out
The ideas and principles about what is right and good are known as ethics.
It could be that they werent raised right or they are stubborn (dont like to listen) or they might not get the attention they need at home.
By Nicholas B. Vice President John C. Calhoun of South Carolina argued that the states had the right of Nullification, an action by a state that cancels a federal law to which the state objects. If accepted, Calhoun's ideas would seriously weaken the federal government.
