Amylase is a catalyst (enzime).Amylose is the polysaccharide.
To slow down the chain reaction in a nuclear reactor, you would insert the control rods. Control rods absorb neutrons and reduce the number available to sustain the chain reaction, thus slowing down the rate of fission reactions occurring in the reactor core.
A protein that speeds up chemical reactions in your digestive system is called an enzyme. Specifically, digestive enzymes like amylase, protease, and lipase catalyze the breakdown of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats, respectively. These enzymes facilitate the digestion process by lowering the activation energy required for the reactions, allowing nutrients to be absorbed more efficiently. Without these enzymes, digestion would occur much more slowly.
In the enzyme reaction conical tube, you would likely observe a faster rate of reaction and a decrease in substrate concentration over time as the enzyme catalyzes the reaction. In the control reaction conical tube, you would not see significant changes in substrate concentration or reaction rate since there is no enzyme present to facilitate the reaction.
As the temperature decreases towards zero degrees Celsius, the rate of reaction of amylase will slow down significantly. At very low temperatures, enzyme activity decreases due to reduced kinetic energy, causing enzymes to move and collide less frequently with substrates. Eventually, near zero degrees Celsius, the rate of reaction will approach zero as enzyme activity becomes nearly non-existent.
Though they are both inhibitors, I would say Protease.
This response is probably coming too late, but I shall answer anyway. Amylases are enzymes that break down food starches to simpler sugars and aid in the digestion of our food. Since flesh is primarily composed of protein, I can safely say that amylase will not eat away flesh. For that you would require a rather aggressive protease. Hope it helped anyway.
What medicines or herbs effect amylase levels.
Protein wouldn't digest.
Amylase has an optimal pH range of 6.7 - 7.0 and an optimal temperature of around 37 degrees Celsius or 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit. This is what would be expected of an enzyme that needs to be in its most active form in the saliva of the mouth.
Amylase is a catalyst (enzime).Amylose is the polysaccharide.
Amylase, a digestive enzyme found in saliva, has no color when dissolved. In crystallized form it would be white.
Starch would fit into the active site of amylase. Amylase is an enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of starch into smaller sugar molecules such as maltose. The active site of amylase has a specific shape that allows it to bind to the starch substrate and break it down into simpler sugars.

The control rod would have a tendency to absorb neutron which is the key for nuclear fission. So by inserting control rods such as Cadmium or Boron rods the reaction rate can be reduced. If we take off the rods the rate of reaction would increase.
