Stephanie Meyer is not sure if she is going to finish the book last i heard. If you want to read what she has, she has it posted on her website, Stephaniemeyer.com. I've read it and it's really good. A lot of people say it's better than the other twilight books. Hopefully she will finish and publish it cause it was a great series. and im pretty sure she'll finish midnight sun before she even thinks about writing another book. sadly, someone copied the rough draft a while ago and posted it on the internet. although its an amazing book so far, she wants to hold off for a while. she says that in the nest few years, whe'll definitley hear more from the cullens.
