SPRAY A LITTLE LUBE AROUND THE INTAKE BY THE GASKET IT WILL PROBABLY SMOOTH RIGHT OUT COMMON INTAKE LEAK PROBLEM.
it should after it's started
It could be a dirty air filter or a dirty throttle body.
First thing that comes to mind is a vacuum leak. check all hoses, gaskets(carb and manifold)
I am not a pro, but mine broke the locating pin on the cam pully, which altered the cam timing. Luckily the valves do not touch the pistons! The engine was pulled and ready for rebuild when it was found. I rebuilt it anyway.
the fuel mixture is to lean and it is bogging out the engin or u need the idle control to be tweeked a little
No idea. But mine just started doing the same thing (91 Legend L automatic). I haven't started it in 1 1/2 to 2 weeks, and the same, idles normal for a few minutes, then begins reving between 1 and 2 k rpms like it's pulsing -- does the same in neutral. About to take it in on Tuesday... I would check your tps first
first step check fuel pressure at the rail with a guage
My 1990 idles at about 850 and with the ac on 1100
idles at 3000 will not go down 1993 grand prix gtp

Is the gas milieage ok, check bad grounds Mine has a bad O2 sensor, does the same thing. Does It take gas when you first start it and try to take off?
I have a problem. I just bought a used 1995 Kawasaki 220 Bayou. The engine started running a little rough at first. Kept getting worse and then started backfiring through the exhaust. I had the carbeurator rebuilt but still runs rough and backfires. Cranks good and idles good. What could be my problem? Thanks
