You are not able to spend as much time you would with yourself or family. you could be called on shift at anytime for a sick patient. and you are responsible for the patient you are taking care of.

Basically I think that nurses spend so much time at the hospital and do not get time to meet their husbands on many occasions. But the a dvantage is that they receive a lot of experience and gifts from the people they encounter daily on duties

Well, atleast you'll know you will ALWAYS have a job and you won't have to worry about unemployment. Yes, you may have to start at the bottom, but there is such a big ladder to climb, so there's plenty of promotion opportunities. There are many different types of nurses, and you can specialise in many different things so you won't get bored. One type of nurse however is to tell families their loved ones are terminally ill which must but horrible. Shift work (especially night shifts) may be difficult for you to get used to and tiring. Although, being a nurse must be one of the most rewarding jobs out there. Go for it
