Susannah means lily, and is Hebrew. The most common way of spelling it is Susanna. My name is Susannah and I really enjoy having this name because I'm the only Susannah at school!! :)

My name is also Susannah (I'm the only Susannah at school too) but I think, in Jewish Culture during the Roman Period, the name was given to children who were recognised to be mischevious, considerate, caring or smiley...although what that has to do with lilies I don't know!

OMFG im the only Susannah in my school too!
