Takoyaki is a ball of squid, about 1-2 inches in diameter that is breaded and fried. (like calamari) Unlike most Japanese foods, (Besides sushi) Takoyaki is very good to most foreigners, versus say, natto (soybean pulp held together by a viscous, slimy fluid) or hijiki. (a type of edible seaweed) The Japanese usually eat takoyaki with a special sauce, or sometimes mayonnaise. They are popular as snack food.

Yes I think so. I am Japanese, and I think Japan is very good place to trip. Especially, I recommend Nara and Hiroshima. And Osaka may also be interesting to visit. When you come to Osaka, you should try Okonomiyaki, a kind of pancake, which contains pork and cabbage. If you eat octopus, I recommend takoyaki too.

Hit the web and do a search. Practice a few different search arguments. If push comes to shove, eBay has them. UPS delivers there, does it not? Good luck hooking up your grill.Bon appétit!
Dango tastes like the topping you put on it. If you put sweet toppings on it, then it would taste sweet. It just depends on what you put on it. Takoyaki is alot like dango, but it's made with seafood and spices. So it depends.
Humans eat octopus in many cultures. The arms and sometimes other body parts are prepared in various ways, often varying by species. Octopus is a common ingredient in Japanese cuisine, including sushi, takoyaki, and akashiyaki. In Korea, some small species are sometimes eaten alive as a novelty food. A live octopus is usually sliced up, and it is eaten while still squirming. United Nations Farms
