Atheism as an example is this:
1. 'A' in latin means 'without'. 'Theism' means 'study/doctrine/belief in god'. Therefore 'Atheism' would be 'a study/doctrine that believes in the idea that we are without a God'.
2. Everyone is technically an Atheist is some form. Christians don't believe in Zeus and Thor as being Gods so they are Atheists in a certain aspect. Where as I believe there is no God/Gods whatsoever. I am a full Atheist.
3. I can't think of a good metaphor the describe atheistic beliefs. I know someone will come along and either put "chicken poo" here or put something that declines Atheism instead of describing the belief system of Atheists.
Batman has great potential to be an antihero and some authors have exploited this potential for just that purpose. Then again, some have ignored or even avoided this facet of the character and made him into something else all together. Yes he is😹

Walter White from the TV show "Breaking Bad" is a modern example of an antihero archetype. He starts off as a sympathetic character but transitions into a morally ambiguous and ruthless individual as he becomes involved in the drug trade.
The antihero is unsure of what to do
An antihero is a central character in a story who lacks traditional heroic qualities. An antihero is not the same as a villain. An antihero will probably not be brave or strong or loyal. I don't care for books with an antihero instead of a hero, personally.
Audio Antihero was created in 2009.
