This can be complicated. The easiest way to get your point across would be to say "deki maska?" (pronounced "deck-ee masu ka/ga?") and show them what you're talking about.

In Japanese there are two ways to ask if someone is able to-- one is conjugating the verb, and one is inserting the verb into a set sentence. I will explain the set sentence.

(...) koto ga dekimasuka?

Where the (...) is, you put a verb in dictionary form. For example, "can you swim?" would be: oyogu koto ga deki maska?

Japanese people mostly use the conjugated form though. That would look like this: "oyoge maska?" (pronounced "oh-yo-gey/gay masu-ka/ga?")

There are a few ways one might ask 'how can I help you?' in Japanese. Some of these are:

  • 何かご用でしょうか (nanika goyou deshou ka) - literally "do you have business?"
  • 何かお探しですか (nanika osagashi desu ka) - literally "are you looking for something?"
  • 何かさし上げましょうか (nanika sashiagemashou ka) - literally "shall I get you something?"

The above sentences would be said to a customer. To ask someone if they need help (with cleaning, lifting something, etc.), you could say 何か手伝いましょうか (nanika tetsudaimashou ka) which literally means "shall I help you with something?" If speaking to friends or family, the more casual手伝おうか (tetsudaou ka) would be more appropriate.

A common way to say 'you can do it' in Japanese is君ならできるよ (kimi nara dekiru yo). However, this is quite casual. The more formal alternative is [name]さんならできますよ ([name]-san nara dekimasu yo).
