Well I found it using Google Earth, it's about 100 meters North of the A8 motorway, due North of the bay of Cannes.
I'm rather amazed that it's so near to the motorway; in the book it sounds like it's located in the back of beyond. But Carol is an actress after all and must be allowed some artistic license.
