The Shrimp died in the intense heat of the sun in the hay field and a farmer was burning the land to prepare for planting. Then the Sparrow died along side of the Shrimp not wanting to part from her, being forever by her side.

The sparrow courted the shrimp for a long time,long time until finally the shrimp’s heart gave in. So the sparrow and the shrimp got married.As may be expected, the shrimp insisted that the sparrow spend his time with her in the water. At first the sparrow obliged, but on the fifth day, the sparrow found himself slowly drowning. He begged his wife that they go to his abode somewhere in the thick field of hay miles away. The shrimp obeyed her husband’s wish.However, after a short stay in the field of hay, the shrimp discovered that she was turningred from the heat of the sun. So she begged her husband that they return to her water kingdom. This the sparrow granted. So the shrimp and the sparrow would stay one day in the water while the next day they would go to the field of hay. In spite of this shortcoming, the newlyweds were happy.One day, the shrimp died because she did not want her husband to be bringing her back and forth to the water. Her death was a hard blow to the sparrow. The sparrow mourned for her and he vowed never to leave her. Unfortunately, some enterprising farmer set the field of hay on fire. When the sparrow found this out, he tried to bring the carcass of his wife to safer place where her bones could decay peacefully. But being dead, the shrimp could not hold on to the sparrow’s wings. So the two of them were burned.
