I don't know if it works everywhere, but in Microsoft Word I used 9774. Hope that helped!
You can use an equation editor or you can use alt codes. Alt 251 and you should get: √ or 221A and then Alt-X.
using the number lock keypad, alt + 227 π or alt + 1234 ╥
alt ( hold ) then type 0215. Ex. 2 × 2 = 4
There is no single square root button on a keyboard. You can sometimes get the square root symbol by holding down alt and pressing 2 then 5 then 1 (or alt + 251). If that doesn't work, you could copy and paste it. √ (that square root sign is from pressing alt + 251)
The Unicode for 1/3 is 0x2153 so with Microsoft Windwos you can enter it as ALT+2153 There is no "alt code" for one third, but there is still a way to type it. Start >> All Programs >> Accessories >> System Tools >> Character Map On the Character Map: Group By >> Unicode Subrange On the Group By: Number Forms >> 1/3 >> Select >> Copy Once you are done, paste by pressing Ctrl+V on your document.
There's no ALT code. You've to enter it by hex sign, which is & # 9 7 7 4 remove the spaces.
Hold down Alt key, press 9774, and release Alt. That works for me in Microsoft word, I hope it will work for you wherever you need it!
To make a peace sign using the Alt key, you would typically hold down the Alt key and type the number 9774 on the numeric keypad while ensuring Num Lock is activated. This should display the ✌ peace sign symbol.
First you , hold on (Alt) then while holding it you type in 9774 Alt ↔ 9774
by clicking the alt and holding it down and clicking a number like☺☻♥♦♣♠•◘○ &#9774 would be a peace sign alt 1 is a smiley ☺ alt to is a dark smiley ☻ alt 3 is a heart ♥
alt+2=☻ alt+3=♥ alt+4=♦ alt+5=♣ alt+6=♠ alt+7=• alt+8=◘ alt+9=○
On a windows computer, type the and sign. Then the pound sign. Press the ALt key as you type 9774.
No and my browsers don't show it (they show a square on it's place).All alt codes are listed here http://alt-codes.org/list/Though somebody wrote:"☮If you have a MAC the code would be ☮.If you have a PC, you have to COPY AND PASTE. ♥Here are some other codes for MAC and some PC..........§To obtain an ALT Character:Make certain that the Num Lock key has been pressed to activate the numeric key section of the keyboard.Depress the Alt key.While the Alt key is depressed, type the proper sequence of numbers (on the numeric keypad) of the ALT code from the table above.Release the Alt key, and the character will appear.*There are some gaps in the numerical sequence of ALT Character codes because either those items do not exist, or else they are duplicates of characters listed elsewhere. Many Special ALT Characters, Special HTML Characters, and Special Characters are the same.Some word processing programs and browsers will not recognize all Alt characters."
The code is u226A
ALT+081
The alt code for the invisible character is 225.
A symbol entered on a computer by holding alt and typing the corresponding code on the number pad for example the alt code for a smiley face is 001
