Without knowing the particular make up of the barrel or slug, I would say that the answer is NO as slugs are generally designed for a non choked barrel.
If you really want to know take your shotgun to a firearms specialist.
This guy is essentially right on the money. Take it to a dealer or gunsmith. You should never take the chance and fire a slug though a choke--it just isn't designed for it. Use smooth bore if you want to be safe.
Guns that shoot slugs are specially designed for slugs. It depends on your gun but most are not designed for this purpose I do not recommend testing it for if they are not the right barrels they WILL break.
yes it can shoot slugs
Yes.
with the wingmaster barrel you can only shoot lead, but if you change the barrel to a slugster you can shoot slugs and buckshot, they also have a barrel for steel shot to.
Youve got the wrong gun If u want to shoot slugs get a air rifle or a slug gun
NO!! A choke makes slugs dangerous. DO NOT fire slugs through ANY choke, ever. The life you save may be your own.
Yes. No problem
Yes, you may shoot slugs or buckshot through a shotgun fitted with the C-Lect Choke system. This is from the tag that Mossberg attaches to their shotguns fitted with C-Lect Chokes.
yes for a shotgun you need a rifle barrel DO NOT shoot slugs if you have a poly-choke!
Depends on what it is choked.
Some bolt action shotguns had an adjustable choke, and it is generally NOT recommended that slugs be fired through those. If there is no adjustable choke at the muzzle, your shotgun should be fine. Stay with rifled slugs.
Pellets or slugs. shotguns usually shoot shot or pellets, but you can shoot slugs. in Indiana we use a shotgun to hunt deer and use shotgun slugs, better to use a barrel with no choke in it. cylinder bore preferred.
