No. A 12 gage shotgun shoots a larger charge than a 16 gage. Shotgun sizes were designated according to the number of steel balls that could be dropped into the barrel that would weigh a pound. 12 steel balls weighing one pound would be dropped into a 12 gage shotgun. Thus it is a larger size than a 16 gage.
(Do not waste your money on a 16 gage shotgun, at least in the United States. You will have difficulty finding shells. You should get a 12 gage or a 20 gage.)
no they are two different sized cartridge's
Yes, it is larger, the smaller the gauge the larger the bore i.e. 3 gauge is larger in diameter than a 8 gauge or a 12 gauge.
It's a bit less powerful than a 12GA. Where the "being shot 9 times" may come from is the 9 pellets in one shell.
no its the 8 gauge side by side Elephant Gun..a very deadly shotgun!! no its the AA-12 Actually it goes farther back than a 8 gauge there a some shot guns that are mounted on cars because the are that powerful.
A little bit more than a 17 gauge but less than 19 guage.
Yes. Some shot types are more lethal than others, but any shotgun can be lethal.
No, you can not shoot anything but 12 gauge shotgun shells through a 12 gauge shotgun. Never use any ammunition other than what the firearm was designed for.
no when your shooting at something you will never tell
Unlikely more than 125 or so
No more than 100 USD, if that.
Seldom more than 100 USD in excellent condition.
No more than 100 USD.
Highly unlikely you will find any. Getting them made will probably cost more than the shotgun is worth.
