∙ 11y agoThe serial number makes this a Flues model Ithaca, named after Emil flues who invented the locking mechanism. It was manufactured between 1908 and 1926 with yours being made late in that range.

Western Arms Company was a division of Ithaca that made inexpensive shotguns that appear identical to the Ithaca made Lefever Nitro Special from 1929 to 1946. Yours was made in 1932. Only 400 guns Western Arms Long Range Guns were produced that year, the worst of the Depression. Single trigger versions range fro $150 to $400 in useable to excellent condition.

The first single trigger used by Ithaca wa made by the Infallible Trigger Co. and was offered after 1914 in the Flues variation. That was replaced by the New Ithaca Double in 1926. In both variations, Ithaca produced 8 different grades, which all have different values. And in every case, value is completely dependent upon original condition.
