I only wish I could answer. I'm glad I'm not the only person who goes nuts when I hear this commercial. My wife insists it says "Rod needs a kit, too". She cannot understand how I can hear anything else. To me it sounds more like "Rodneys a skit, too." Or "Rodney's kid too." Either way, it drives me up the wall. Anybody else?

This commercial drives me insane.. I can not figure it out and have tivo'd it to death.

This has been bugging the heck out of me too. It sounds to me like she says "Rodney's kit too." That makes about as much sense as Rodney's kid or Rod needs a kit. I think it's her accent, or her inflection or something that is off. It took me forever to figure out the Geico gecko was saying "Fancy a crisp?" but once you get it you wonder why it took so long. Keep listening. And maybe someone from Accu-chek will see this and answer it for us :)

She says "I have Diabetes... Rodeney's KID too". She and Rodney's kid are both coping with being Diabetic, so that's why they're proud to work for the company that makes the testing supplies.
I found the website that gives the answer. It is Rodney's kid too. Check out the accu check website. https://www.accu-chek.com/data/born/index.html?referrerURL=www.accu-chek.com/usa12&locale=en_US click on Indi, click on Rodney.

Well that does make sense - it's her syntax that's off (I'm a copy editor!). So she really should be saying, "Rodney's kid does too." Otherwise, grammatically, she's saying that she has diabetes and Rodney's kid (I thought she and ol' Rod were looking kinda friendly <wink> ) Thanks for clearing it up

I thought I was totally alone being bugged by figuring out what the hell she says. It sounds like "Rodney's hit too" or "Rodney kits too". And I can't stand her toothy grin and the drawl she has when she says "US-Ayyy". LOL. Sometimes I run for the remote control to turn it off before it irritates me any more. Some commercials are just irritating as hell and this is one of them.
It drove me crazy the last 2 months.........never thinking to Google it."Rodney's fit too".........she thinks Rodney's buff?"Rodney hit two".....homeruns at the company softball game?I'll go along with "Rodney's kid" too. Now I can't wait to see the commercial again. You would think the ad company would have done some tests to see if people could understand the message.
She's saying "Rodney's Kid too" Because when the commercial was released it was required to include a token African American in your commercial. Obviously Rodney's kid no longer has Asthma because the new commercial (an actual duplicate of the original, does not include Rodney's poor kid. A typical example of Valeri Jaret "Controlling the Message". The Obama administration is as corrubpt as Goebles and Woodrow Wilson.
As of my last update in October 2023, I don't have specific information on the latest Aviva advertisement or the woman featured in it. For the most accurate and current information, I recommend checking Aviva's official website or their social media channels, where they often highlight their latest campaigns and featured individuals.
If you're talking about the one with the woman walking along and looking at everyone before she saves the man from being hit by the bus, the song is 'Kids With Guns' by Gorillaz!
