Irregular periods can make it more challenging to conceive, as they can affect ovulation timing. It's essential to track your cycle to identify any patterns and understand when you might be ovulating. Consulting with a healthcare professional can help determine any underlying issues and provide guidance on fertility options. They may recommend lifestyle changes, medical treatments, or fertility assessments to improve your chances of getting pregnant.
i am trying to find out as well
Hello - This bleeding could be due to pregnancy or due to irregular period bleeding. See your doctor hun for a blood test. dark thick blood just means you have a bunch of hemoglobin in it.. Hemoglobin is the stuff that slowes the flow in your blood when you get a cut. A light period for irregular period women seems pretty normal.. if you have light cycles you could have a estrogen deficiancy.. I would see your doctor if you are trying to get pregnant and have not yet.
If your period comes every 20-21 days and stays for 5 days your cycle length is 25-26 days. That would not be considered irregular if your cycle length is relatively the same each month. You would ovulate roughly between days 11 and 13 of your cycle. Clomid could be a good way to start fertility treatment when you are trying to conceive but it would be advisable to discuss fertility treatment options with your doctor first.
*Pregnancy. * Irregular period. * Hormonal imbalance.
No. Sometimes your period is irregular because it is trying to form a pattern. If it continues to be irregular for about 5 or 6 months(and you are not pregnant) then you should see a doctor.I would like to add here that I went on the birth control pills to regulate my period. I also had very bad PMS and the pill saved my life. Many women take the pill to help them regulate their period and cycle as well as combat PMS. Call your doctor and talk to him/her about doing this.
Yes, because if you have irregular periods than you probably do not ovulate regularly. Which if you are trying to conceive could make it very difficult to determine when you will be able to conceive, because determining ovulation is difficult. Having irregular periods also means that you are ovulating less than someone who has a period promptly every 28-30 days which does in fact decrease your chances. With that being said, getting pregnant while having irregular period is not impossible. It might take a little more planning and time, but it is quite possible!! Goodluck to all those who are TTC out there :)
Being pregnant is the most common, but in when you first have your period it can be irregular because your body is trying to get in a regular pattern of releasing eggs. Lack of food or being sick can also sometimes cause missing periods.
If your wife is having irregular bleeding, especially after sex, she should see her gynecologist right away. You might also consider seeing a fertility specialist.
There are several reasons why you can have an irregular period. It may be because you are young and your body has not adjusted yet. Usually the first 6 months - 1 year of having periods. Or It could be due to stress or maybe another underlyng problem that only a doctor may diagnose. If this is bothering you in any way and is really out of the ordinary then I suggest seeing a nurse if even just to put your mind at rest. If you are not trying for a baby then a nurse may be able to suggest a contraceptive method that would usually regulate your period.
If aren't having any periods you probably can't get pregnant. If you're having irregular periods you can get pregnant, but the chance is lower.
I don't think so... I'm trying to find out too, I searched on the internet but there were no results found. :P
Well start by counting and recording the days between each period. If you have the time do this over 3-5 months. The days between each period should be the same or close. If they are find the centre point. Then you should be able to conceive. If they arn't the same, even though it is inaccurate to do so, take an average and try from there. If you still find trouble to conceive consult your doctor. Good luck
