To convince your mom to let you stay home alone, start by demonstrating your maturity and responsibility. Discuss specific reasons why you want to stay home, such as completing homework or needing some personal time. Offer to set clear boundaries and check-in times, and reassure her that you have a plan in place for emergencies. Finally, suggest a trial period to build her trust in your ability to handle being home alone.
It all depends on how long they let stay home alone. When I was 10, they let me stay at home for up to an hour. When I was 12, I could stay home for up to 3 hours. When I was 14, I was baby-sitting, so I could stay home alone for however long I wanted. Hope this helps!!
Be practically perfect for the whole day, then at like 7:00, ask if you can stay up 1 hour later than usual in the politest way possible. Continue until satisfied. (Hint: decrease the amount of time you ask for each time you ask. :)
Explain that your old enough and promise no big parties and stuff
No way!
Demonstrate you can handle independance over a period of time.
Wake up before your mom and drink hot tea. This will only work if the thermometer is a mouth one.
Show them that you really love each other
if you are more responsible, your parents are more likely to let you travel alone. they are probably just worried for your safety.
Well, it depends on what state you live in, but in Oregon most people let their kids stay at home at the age of 10 or something. There is no law but 1o is the average, like, i let my kids stay home at 10 but now their in high school and college... i stay in Grange mouth and i let my kids stay home at the age of 12 when they have turned (ON their birthday) because i think that that is the time when they know how to behave properly as it is in Oregon there is no law. just in case you are wondering where Grange mouth is it is in Scotland near Edinburgh and Glasgow! it is the best town ever!!!!!!
