I wouldn't use any heavy detergents as they tend to hang onto material. Try to soak it in cold water first. Then wring it out and put an equal mixture of baking soda and white vinegar on the stain and brush in with an old toothbrush. I keep an extra one in my laundry room for stains. Brush the mixture in but do not let it dry . wait 5 minutes and wash in the regular way. If it's very stubborn repeat it.
spit
Spit is not an effective method for removing blood stains from clothes. It is recommended to use cold water and a stain remover specifically designed for blood stains.
Have the person whose blood is on the clothing spit on it and rinse it with cool water. ( Just spit, no phlegm, please!) You may need to rub it with something as well. It may take a couple of spits, but it will come out! It has something to do with your enzymes breaking down your own blood, I think. Gross, but I have raised 2 boys and it works every time for me :)
Bit of spit and a rub
first of all, try to soak the piece of clothing... or whatever... in COLD WATER!! NEVER HOT WATER!!!! hot water sets the stain!!! get blood out... if its your blood soak it in your spit If the stains do not come out with cold water, try spraying the stain with Genesis 950 and allow it to soak. This will break the bonds of the stain and it can then be rinsed clean from the surface.
to keep spit and other substanced off the patients clothing
It depends, the thing that works best though is a teaspoon of sugar and a spit of spit.
They spit into their food; have hepititus
spit
To remove red stains from tan carpet, start by blotting up as much of the stain as possible with a clean white cloth. Then, mix a solution of water and mild dish soap and apply it to the stain, blotting it with a cloth. You can also try using a commercial carpet cleaner specifically designed for removing stains. Remember to test any cleaning solution on a small, inconspicuous area of the carpet before applying it to the stain.
spit it out and plant it
This is probably the easiest thing you could possibly do, and it's completely free..spit on it. Get a rag, or washcloth and spit right on the stain (only if it's your spit and yourblood) and rub with the rag/washcloth. You will start to notice the stain fading right away. And just keep doing this until it's gone. It should take less than a few minutes. Hope this helped. : )
