Some dances performed are occasionally not suited for pointe shoes, so soft shoes will be worn for performances, they are quite regularly. A training fitness program can help with weight loss but whether it can help with beauty or not depends on your definition of beauty. If you mean the skin, then probably not.
First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can't eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off. Exercise is a must especially if you need to lose a lot of weight. Get at least 30 minutes a day, of some good hardcore exercising.
