∙ 15y agoHe isn't really a famous actor but he's a famous writer because his plays have some of the most beautiful and thought provoking language in history. Plus, the plots, characters and themes in his plays are incredibly universal and easy to relate to.

What is remarkable is that the plays continued in popularity even after tastes changed and changed and changed again through the centuries. The structure of the plays and their language survives all manner of adaptation.
