Break dancing was invented in the 1970s, as an alternative to fighting between rival street gangs. They would dance, and the winners would earn respect and also make rules (such as the losing team getting out of their territory). Eventually, music accompanied the dancing, which consisted of the disc jockey looping the rhythmic sections of dance records. These sections came to be known as "breaks" or "breakbeats." This is where breakdance got its name from.
In dance, there are no formal etiquette rules. It varies depending on the instructor, studio, program, competition, etc. you should always be respectful, arrive on time, wear the proper clothes. In ballet, there is no leaning on the barre, fidgeting, or losing your "ballet posture".at competitions they sometimes disqualify you for things that are not age appropriate. hope that helps. :)
It depends on the intensity and your size/weight, if intense then it can burn 600-800 per hour, about as much as hip-hop. If not as intense then about 200-400 per hour....I can't really explain the difference in weight and how that changes calorie losing though, all i know is that the heavier you are the more you burn.
A hint.
