Depends on your experiences. But there are several obvious ways you can relate to it.
1. At the beginning you find out the Capulets and the Montagues hate each other for no real reason but the grudge has been passed down for generations. This happens a lot in the world where people are taught to hate each other.
2. Romeo is madly in love with Roseline and he is severly depressed that she doesn't love him back. A lot of people feel severly depressed when they're turned down by a loved one. (I'm feeling pretty depressed about the same thing right now)
3. When Romeo and Juliet find out about each others parents they have an inner conflict. A lot of people have inner conflicts (I have a lot myself)
4. When Tybalt kills Mercutio, Romeo's best friend for no good reason he lets his anger get the better of him and kills Tybalt. People often let the anger get the better of them and regret it later.
5. Juliet has an argument with her parents about marrying Paris and a lot of peoples personal moral issues lead to conflicts with their parents. (I have completely different veiws from my parents so I have this happen to me a lot)
