Oh, he loves it. It is composed in an extremely stuffy old-fashioned style about a story from Virgil. Polonius is bored by it (He says, "This is too long.") and he is not alone, since according to Hamlet the play was a flop because it was "caviare to the general". But let's face it, Hamlet is an artistic snob, as well as a dillettante who has the gall to instruct the players on how to act. He sneers at Polonius and the general people who didn't like the play. Hamlet, on the other hand, finds it very moving.

the play is called Hamlet and was writing by William Shakespeare.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamlet
Antigone and Ophelia are similar because they both are heartbroken over the loss of a loved one (in Ophelia's case two loved ones, Pelonius, her father. And Hamlet, her boyfriend). And Gertrude and Ophelia are similar because they both seem to have the need for someone to look after them and love them, because almost immediatly after Hamlet Sr. dies Gertrude moves right on to Hamlet's uncle for a sense of security. The same goes for Ophelia in that she goes completely insane after the loss of her father and after Hamlet acts like a jerk to her. But I don't see a common connection between all three of them.
Hamlet Sr (Old Hamlet) was the King of Denmark and Hamlet Jr's (Hamlet) father. Hamlet Sr dies at the beginning of the play and the story follows Hamlet Jr as the main character. Hope this helps, Have a great day.

The ghost of Hamlet's father, the former king.
No in the opening scene Horatio, Hamlets friend, sees the ghost, along with two sentries, Marcellus and Bernardo. The Sentries have seen the ghost on previous nights and have called Horatio to see it too.
Hamlet's father dies (was murdered) before the play begins so in the first act first scene he appears as a ghost. The ghost appears on the battlements of the castles and is first seen by the sentries up there. It is these men that inform Hamlet of the appearance of his father's ghost.

Whether Hamlet runs around the throne room is a matter for the director to decide. There are no stage directions or lines which require him to do so. It can be a good call. When Keanu Reeves played Hamlet (yes, I was there), you only noticed him when he was running around like a maniac; at all other times everything and everybody else on stage became much more interesting than Hamlet. In that particular case, running around did make him seem more insane.
