Here is an answer which will generate much hate.

Realize that as much as we wish science can explain away God, the very Earth, moon, sun, and other planets tell us of the perfect situation our planet is in is evidence of intervention.

Realization comes with a knowledge that you are energy. This first begins with self exploration and evaluation; after all how can you see the real universe when you cannot see outside of the windows of your eyes. (not mystics or magic, just knowing yourself)

If you look for answers in the right places, and you KNOW that you were created by someone that loves you individually on a plane of existence beyond human knowledge (and far beyond my own) you realize that there is much more to the universe than we see. You will then realize that the only logical answer is that God exists.

You become aware of yourself (most people are not), and then you realize more than what you have been handed by religion (religion does in fact improve most people's lives) and you see for yourself simply what is and has always been right before you. Here is an example..

Realize that the Planet Earth is a perfect distance from the sun.

Realize that the Atmosphere is perfectly formulated to keep the correct amount of solar radiation from freezing and overheating.

Realize the the moon causes a perfect wobble to create our seasons, and with this..

Realize the the Earth spins (slower as time goes on) perfectly so the sun heats the Earth Equally.

Realize that the sun generates the correct amount of radiation to interact with all of the above aspects so life can survive.

Realize that in all of the time of the universe these things all happened after the elements we have today were formed. (since most of the universe is helium and hydrogen, our sun is 99.89% of the matter in this solar system and it is mainly helium and hydrogen)

Realize that Particle duality tells us that simply observing matter changes how it acts, which suggests that we are larger than our bodies.

Realize that as we look deeper into ourselves we find external answers, these answers literally show us the truth. (even the fact that Jesus did actually die for us because we need a guide to show us a place so far more complex than we could understand, therefore we can in fact only be with God through the help of Jesus, our savior). Jesus told John, "When you die it is like being born again" I will let you think about that for yourself.

This is like peace. Peace is not a place you find or a fountain you wash yourself in once. It is every day, and when we walk it with intent now, and do the right things even when no one is watching our future is better. Realization is every day, even if there is not a new discovery every day. More for you to ponder.

How is God experienced?

God cannot be seen, touched and felt. We may experience the power of God in the sun that glows, the wind that blows, the water that flows, we may experience God's beauty in all that is beautiful, but the real way to experience God is known as God-realization. We have to realize God by opening our real eyes. God-realization comes after self-realization, when we realize we are not the body and mind, we are the power within, the Soul, the Spirit, then we realize that the Soul or the power inside us is God, and God is inside every living creature. God is also in every atom of this beautiful natural universe. Once we realize God, then we experience God all the time. But first we need God-realization.

Why is self-enquiry essential in understanding the Creation?

The only way to God-realization is Self-realization, which is the first step to God-realization. It's when we realize that we are not the body, mind and ego, we are the Divine Soul. How will we come to realize this? Through inquiry, through asking these questions, who am I and why I am here? These are essential for understanding the truth of life. This leads to enlightenment, enlightenment leads us to unification with the Divine.
