That she seems to add an element of ironic regret to her rebellion is the way in which Antigone's manner changes in "Antigone" by Sophocles (495 B.C.E. - 405 B.C.E.).
Specifically, Theban Princess Antigone keeps up her attitude of rebellion against royal trespass into divine domains of responsibility. She may exhibit less determination than anger in her first interaction with her sister Ismene. She may express equal amounts of anger and determination in her interaction with King Creon and in her second interaction with Ismene. But by the time that she processes to her death, Antigone moves from determination mixed with angry comments about Creon to an almost ironic regret about dying because she defends divine will.

Ismene doesn't wasnt her sister, Antigone, to bury POlyneices because she fears for her sister's life. Creon proclaimed that whomever might bury Polyneices would be publically stoned to death.
Admiration, love and loyalty are Haemon's feelings about Antigone in "Antigone" by Sophocles (495 B.C.E. - 405 B.C.E.).Specifically, Theban Prince Haemon praises Antigone, his first cousin and bride-to-be, for respecting divine law and protecting the rights of the Theban dead. He persists in his love for her and in his desire to not break the engagement and to be married to her. He defends Antigones rights to holding her own opinions and to following her own course of action.
There are two main moral issues in the play 'Antigone'. One is the question of disobedience or obedience to inhumane, unfair, unjust laws. Another is the manner in which that disobedience/ or obedience is carried out.
A style of writing is a distinctive manner of expression. Poetry is a manner of expression that's calculated to produce vivid imagery in the mind and to create an emotional response through meaning, sound, and rhythm. The writing style in the play 'Antigone' is poetic. That poetic style of writing definitely is used to call forth vivid mental images and to get readers and viewers to sympathize with the main character, Antigone.

That it is a lie is the reason why Antigone refuses to permit Ismene to share responsibility for burying Polyneices in "Antigone" by Sophocles (495 B.C.E. - 405 B.C.E.).Specifically, Theban Princess Antigones asks her sister Ismene to help give their brother Polyneices' body a proper below-ground burial. Ismene refuses out of fear of the death penalty for breaking one of their uncle King Creon's laws. Antigone seeks capture for giving Polyneices a partial burial under a layer of dust because the royal law contradicts divine will and Theban traditions. She wants to make a statement in suffering the consequences and not to have anything to do with a sister whom she considers base.
He vaguely mentions that the death of Antigone will lead to the death of another. [Meaning his father.] This threat is followed through with, but not in the intended manner. When Creon goes to release Antigone from her living grave, Haemon is inside grieving Antigone's suicide. When he tries to kill his father (as he intended), his sword misses his father & he turns on it himself. [Still seeing that the threat is completed.]
scene 7
Live burial and starvation is Antigone's punishment in "Antigone" by Sophocles (495 B.C.E. - 405 B.C.E.).Specifically, Theban Princess Antigone's crime carries the sentence of death under a hail of heavy, sharp rocks thrown by fellow Thebans. But her uncle King Creon decides to change the form of death. Instead, he has Antigone escorted to a remote cave in which she is walled up with a limited supply of food.
If Antigone disobeys Creon's Law in "Antigone," Antigone is to be sentenced to death.
