For many people the Globe Theater was a new and exciting place. However, it did attract many bad things such as gambling, and stealing. The Puritans attitude toward the Globe Theater was negative. They found this new form of entertainment dangerous and immoral.
The Globe
The Globe Theater was a wooden, thatched, open air, London, Tudor theater where many of Shakespeare's plays were first performed. A replica of the theater has been built on its original site in London where the original theater experience of the Tudor times can be had. This too is named the Globe after the original.
There were no restrooms in the Globe Theater. However, there was a bucket that was passed around that people could use, or people would go outside and use neighboring bushes instead.

Many of the richer people who sat up in the galleries attended the Globe Theater in the 1600's but many poorer people attended the plays in the central yard also.
